Sheffield City Trust has an exciting role leading on the aquatic and dry sports coached activity programme within an iconic multi-use leisure venue.

Are you looking to develop your career within sport and leisure? Sheffield City Trust, the Health & Wellbeing Charity, require a Sports Programme Supervisor to join their team at Ponds Forge Interntational Sports Centre in Sheffield to lead on the aquatic and dry sports coached activity programme for the venue.

This is a varied and exciting role with responsibility for public use and session planning, assisting with the programming and bookings of private hire bookings and club usage and any other activity making use of the aquatic or dry sports facilities. You will also be the site point of contact for birthday parties and holiday camps ensuring effective and safe delivery and developing the product and offering alongside the business objectives, whilst working with the Venue Safeguarding Office (VSO) to ensure safeguarding is kept front and centre and to deal with any issues should they arise. You will provide Line Management of coaching staff, including payroll and rotas, performance management and provision of lessons cover where needed. 

Ability to deliver consistent outcomes under pressure is essential as is experience in delivering and developing a coached programme of aquatic and or dry sports activities, experience of line managing people, knowledge of coached education pathways and the health & safety provisions required in to deliver safe and inclusive aquatic and dry sports activities. A level 2 coaching qualification in Aquatics, Gymnastics, Trampolining or Athletics would be desirable.
