Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) in Hudderfield are seeking to expand our Aquatics Team by increasing our Swimming Teacher workforce.
Within this role, you will deliver high quality sessions in accordance with the Swim England Learn To Swim Programme/School Swimming Charter, ensuring that all customers have a great experience. You will ensure that parents/teachers are aware of children's progression through the effective use of the recording systems.
KAL will provide the opportunities for you to undertake Continued Professional Development (CPD) which may include various training opportunities, upskilling of present qualifications and mentoring through the experienced KAL workforce.
What we would like from you:
You will be required to plan and deliver a range of safe, structured and fun aquatic sessions to a diverse customer base. As KAL offers the full Aquatic Pathway you will also have the opportunity to develop in other disciplines or activities across KAL facilities.
A huge part of looking after our customers is keeping them safe; you will contribute to customer safety by making sure you supervise the sessions and give instructions as needed, paying particular attention to any equipment used.
As part of the Aquatics Team you will be expected to attend regular meetings to ensure the continual development of the facility and programme is maintained and delivered to the highest possible standard.
The ability to communicate effectively is key in this role as you will work in a team to ensure that every customer receives a customer experience which is second to none whilst carrying out the role in accordance with our values; We are ONE TEAM focused on delivering customer service EXCELLENCE with PASSION.
