Diving Pathway Conference 2019

Bookings are now open for the bi-annual Swim England Diving Pathway Conference 2019.

The event takes place between 22 – 24 September at the Village Hotel, South Leeds.

The conference will provide a unique opportunity to hear from a range of key speakers and network with colleagues from across the country and overseas.

Each day is full of workshops that focus on P3 – People Places Performance. This will be presented in wide range of workshops such as the Single System, maximising your team function, and the coach as a performer and many more.

Suzie Collins, Talent Development Officer for Diving, said: “We are very excited to be holding our Pathway Conference in Leeds this year. The conference aims to bring together coaches from across the country and provide them with a range of interesting and informative presentations and workshops which will improve our sport as a whole going forward.

Julian Bellan, Talent Development Manager, said: “The bi-annual pathway conference is a place where coaches can come together and in collaboration shape the future direction of diving. This year we have an excellent mix of highly technical presentations along with leading experts in areas of child development and coach development to challenge our preconceptions and the status quo.

“It is with great excitement that Leon Taylor has once again agreed to host the conference and will himself be leading thought evoking discussions that will challenge coaching behaviours.

“Taking a few days away from the busy coaching schedule to reboot and refocus as we once again push to make our diving sport system a true world leader.”
