Louth Masters' fourth consecutive victory

Louth Leisure Centre hosted the 27th Annual Lincolnshire County ‘Carol Patch Masters Championship and Team Trophy Award’ on 12 October.

The clubs of Louth, City of Lincoln Pentaqua, Lincoln Vulcans, Gainsborough Dolphins, Deepings, Boston and Grantham were all competing for the title.

The 28 swimmers from Louth SC (15 ladies and 13 men) between the ages of 18 and 62 gave Louth its fourth consecutive victory at the event, notching up a creditable 20 personal best times from 106 individual events and taking home 67 individual medals.

The club also managed to win 6 out of the 8 relay events held at the end of the competition.

Three county masters records were set by:

Tommy Schneider (50-54yrs) 100m Freestyle
Tom Richardson (18-24yrs) 50m Backstroke
Rebecca Dunning (18-24yrs) 50m Backstroke

Louth Masters and Senior Coach, Sarah Richardson, was very encourages by her squad’s performance and looks forward to making it five victories in a row in 2015!
