Synchro in the East Midlands07/10/2014
Welcome to the home of synchro in the East Midlands. Synchronised swimming, known in the community as synchro, is a fantastic sport which combines strength, agility, rhythm and flair.
Competitive synchro swimmers must be extremely fit, and completely at home in the water to perform routines on their own, with a partner or as part of a team.
- Find out more about synchro on the Swim England Synchro Hub.
Synchro routines are essentially athletic movements performed in water and choreographed to music.

Synchro Competitions and Development
The Midland Regional Age Group and Open Synchronised Swimming Championships take part every year for the best synchro swimmers in the East and West Midlands.
The Championships features competitions for Figures, Solo, Duet and Teams for a range of age groups.
Competitors must be members of one of the clubs listed above to take part.
We also host five synchro development days throughout the year, taking place across the different counties in the East Midlands.
Training will involve practising water and land work as well as choreography.
