New set of webinars on Mental Toughness and preparing for a new beginning

We are in unprecedented times and we have lots of questions that don’t have answers. However, there’s always something we can do and that’s what these webinars are about.

These exciting sessions will be delivered by former Olympian and Commonwealth Gold medallist Chris Cook, an Institute of Swimming tutor and motivational speaker.

Chris will chat about how we can start to engineer our own mental toughness, and what does it look like for us in a practical setting, taking into account our own personalities.

He will introduce what mental toughness is, its principles and values. Then he will guide you through how you can prepare yourself for a new beginning in times of uncertainty.

The session will cover strategies including:

  • Imposter syndrome
  • The adversity/the unknown
  • Acceptance/grief curve
  • Reaction vs response

After the 1 hours sessions, there will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions.

The webinars cost £15 and 10% of the course fees will go as a charitable donation to FACT charity (Fight All Cancers Together)
