How does the academy work:

The academy allows aspiring teachers to receive all their training for only £79, compared to the usual cost of over £1,000. It includes mentoring to support your development, and you’ll be matched with an employer.

Successful applicants will complete their SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualifications and be supported through their training journey with Institute of Swimming Membership which includes over £100 worth of free e-learning. Lessons typically run between 16:00 – 19.00 Monday – Friday and 8:00-13.00 Saturday and Sunday (exact times will vary depending on site/ region). About HydroKidz and SwimExpert

SwimExpert started life in 2006 as a one-man band entity until 2010 when they set upon an ambitious journey to grow the business.

They grew from 1 venue to around 15 in just 5 years where they only offered private lessons, typically out of hotel venues. In 2014 they started an E-commerce side of the business (theswimmingshop.com) and in 2016 they saw the first of their group venues open where they operate under the banner of HydroKidz.

The growth has continued to this day and they now offer private lessons out of 30 venues predominately in the South East. HydroKidz is now in 6 schools, and is attended by 2000+ children weekly and growing.

E-commerce as well as the service side of the business has grown during this period organically and via the purchase of simplyswim.com last September, they will be adding a retail outlet to this side of the business this summer.

They have a strong work ethos within SwimExpert and have ambitious goals not only to grow but to improve our offerings and standards across the board.
