This course will give you access to your e-learning for the level 1 element of your learning programme.
This course will start you on your journey with knowledge and skills to become an assistant swimming teacher, following further study. Once the full course is completed, with practical elements, it will enable you to actively support a qualified swimming teacher in the delivery of a planned learn to swim session.
Who is the course designed for?
Anyone aged 14-16 who is in full time education who wants to start the journey to becoming a swimming teacher.

This course alone will not qualify you as an assistant teacher. This is the start of a learning journey, aimed at 14-15 year old school students, as part of a wider learning programme with the Institute of Swimming.
