Teaching Aquatics to Children with Learning Disabilities

This workshop will enable you to identify key characteristics of learning difficulties that can impact on a participant’s ability to learn to swim. It gives examples of good practice as well as strategies and adaptions to teaching practices that will support participants. You will also be able to signpost children to the right environments to meet their needs and help them achieve their potential.

The CPD is for Swim England Level 2 swimming teachers and consists of a 4 hour theory based seminar. 3 hour webinar plus homework

This CPD will be delivered online as a webinar.

A webinar is an interactive online seminar that is led by the tutor and allows participants in different locations to be guided through the course content, hear the presenter, ask questions and be involved in group text discussions.

All our webinars are hosted on Zoom. We have created a guide to Zoom webinars to help you prepare.
