Mental Toughness – Preparing for a new beginning

This exciting session will be delivered by Olympian and Commonwealth Gold medallist, Chris Cook, an Institute of Swimming tutor and motivational speaker.

Chris will discuss how we can start to engineer our mental toughness, and what this looks like for us in a practical setting, taking into account our diverse personalities.

The session will cover strategies including:

  • Imposter syndrome
  • The adversity/the unknown
  • Acceptance/grief curve
  • Reaction vs response

After the 1 hours session, there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions.

10% of your course fee will go as a charitable donation to FACT charity (Fight All Cancers Together).
