Initial Assessment for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) - Combined SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and Level 2 Teaching Swimming

RPL is an assessment only route you can take to gain an SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification if you already possess the skills and knowledge needed.

This initial assessment should be completed prior to booking on to the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) - Combined SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and Level 2 Teaching Swimming course. Once you book on to this initial assessment you will be given access to your online workbook. This will include a set of questions which you need to complete by the course end date below.

If you pass the initial assessment you will be able to book on to the full RPL course.

You will be asked to provide relevant and sufficient evidence that you meet the criteria laid out in both qualification specifications. Those who decide to join RPL are given four weeks to gather their evidence and upload it to their workspace; this will include videoing yourself coaching participants so please make sure you have their permission beforehand.
