This course covers the practical sessions and assessment on a virtual platform and is for those who have already completed their PWTAG Pool Plant Operator theoretical training including e-learning and theory assessments and will be able to access their facility for the assessment.

Who is the course designed for?
To attend this course, you must have already completed the theoretical elements of your Pool Plant Operators Online learning.
You must also be able to access your facility to complete the assessment and have access to the following equipment:
• Photometer or Comparator
• Test Tubes and lids if required for your model
• Reagents for DPD 1, DPD 3, Phenol Red, Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness
• TDS Meter
• Crushing rods
• Dry cloth or tissue roll
• Timer or stopwatch device
• Calculator if required
• Syringe is recommended
Please note that if Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness are being completed manually you will also require a shaker bottle plus the appropriate tablets.
