Prerequisites

You must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the course.

You must have one of the following qualifications:

An in-date Pool Plant Operators Certificate, these include:
IoS/RLSS - Pool Plant Operator
Active IQ - Level 3 Pool Plant Operations
Palm - Swimming Pool Technical Operator
Brio - Swimming Pool Technical Operator
Stockwell Safety - Pool Plant Operator
STA - Pool Plant Operator

Please note your results will not be processed for certification until a copy of your current certificate has been verified by the Institute of Swimming.

If you are revalidating within 8 weeks after your Pool Plant Operator Certificate expiry then we will require additional pre requisites to process your revalidation. This is to show you have been maintaining current and regular pool plant room and water testing experience. This evidence can be provided in the form of a letter or expert witness statement from your employer to be sent to [email protected]. Once received, your details will be submitted to RLSS UK for awarding.

If your Pool Plant Operator Certificate is outside of this period, you will need to obtain a qualification extension request from your original Awarding Organisation, this will need to be evidenced alongside your original certificate before your results are processed.
