About the goal

The Wine and Beer Burnout is a goal to burn 1,000 kCal. This is the five pints of beer or seven glasses of red wine that make up 14 units of alcohol. Keep your booze intake safe and burn off the calories.

In the pool

1,000 kCal is 82 minutes of average breaststroke swimming. How you do those 82 minutes is up to you. Remember, every swim counts towards your goal, however small. Just log swims to reach it. So which one are you?

  1. Down in one! Do all the swims in one visit with no breaks
  2. A couple of nights out with friends: Two visits of 41 minutes
  3. A shady beer garden at the weekend. Four visits of 20.5 minutes
