Swimathon 2020 challenges
- 400m – Take on the perfect challenge for those new to swimming, not so confident, or just getting started in the pool after a Christmas break! Swimathon really is a #SwimForAll and the 400m challenge (16 lengths of a 25m pool) is ideal for everybody no matter your swimming ability!
- 5k or Triple 5k – Feel like you’ve mastered the art of swimming? Want something to really challenge yourself? Why not take on the staple Swimathon challenge – the 5k! The original challenge for those that can’t get enough of the water will really test your ability and give people a great reason to donate. If you think even this isn’t enough for you, how about the challenge that returns by very popular demand, the beast that is the Triple 5k. Swim 5k three times and three separate sessions and show that you really are a master of the art. The ultimate bucket list challenge for any budding swimmer.
- Teams – Want to take part in Swimathon with your friends or family? Why not take part in either the Team 1.5k or 5k challenge! You and up to 4 others can split the swimming in a relay fashion, and take on these iconic Swimathon distances. Get the team together for the New Year, and kickstart your training early!
- MySwimathon – If you can’t make the Swimathon dates, fear not – you can still take part in a MySwimathon! Swim at any pool of your choosing, any time that suits you between 20 March and 5 April. It really is a #SwimForAll.
