Do you swim at a venue that would be perfect for Swimathon?

The Open Water Swimathon is back for a third year in 2019 – and is looking for new host venues.

It has grown to become a nationwide event, with more than 1,000 participants taking part at 20 venues throughout the country in 2018.

This year’s Open Water Swimathon will take place on 7 and 8 September and participants will be able to sign up for a range of individual (500m, 1.5k, 2.5k, 5k) or team challenges (1.5k or 5k).

It is perfect for both experienced open water swimmers and those transferring from the pool to the open water for the first time.

All participants are encouraged to fundraise for Swimathon’s joint charity partners – Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.

In order to continue to grow the event, organisers are now looking for more venues to host sessions.
