Pathway Coach Mentoring Programme 2021-2022

Swim England’s Pathway Coach Mentoring programme for 2021-2022 provides a unique coach development opportunity for coaches who are predominantly working with age-group and early youth level athletes within the Swim England Talent Pathway for Swimming and Para-Swimming.

Each coach will be assigned a mentor from our Swim England Coach Developer team who will work with the coach to provide bespoke, in situ support guided by the initial creation of an Individual Development plan.

The programme will run for a 12-month period from September 2021 until August 2022 and will provide the opportunity for mentored coaches to take part in monthly small group communities of practice, alongside programme visits both from and to your Coach Developer.

Mentoring will be delivered through both online and face to face interactions, and our experienced Coach Developers will facilitate coach development in both technical and non-technical areas.
