How you can help support Swim England’s #SaveOurSports campaign

Swim England is encouraging its members and clubs to get behind our campaign and support our lobbying work – pressing the Government to ensure swimming pools are among the first to reopen as the national lockdown ends.

Swimming pools are well managed, controlled environments that are essential for peoples physical and mental health. Swim England’s guidance has shown how they can operate safely and figures from Public Health England reveal an incredibly low rate of transmission associated with pools.

Remaining active and healthy is a key part of the battle against Covid-19, swimming pools are an essential service in helping the nation come back stronger following the second lockdown.

We are urging the Government to support our amazing sports – and there are a number of ways you can get involved:

Download our template letter and send to your MP asking them to lobby the Prime Minister, calling for the Government to #OpenOurPools as a priority when we leave the national lockdown.
