BBC to stream Synchronised Swimming National Championships

The Swim England Synchronised Swimming National Championships in Nottingham will be streamed live on the BBC.

The Free Teams event will be shown live on the BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and app on Sunday 28 April, with coverage beginning from 2pm.

The presentation of the prestigious Redwood Trophy – awarded to the English club team with the highest routine scores from the Technical and Free Team routines – will also be shown as part of the coverage.

Showcasing talent to national audience

A Swim England spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to have the BBC on board to broadcast the National Championships.

“Some of the best synchronised swimmers in the country will relish the chance to showcase their talents to a national audience.”

Further information will be provided in the build-up to the National Championships, which will be held at Harvey Hadden Sports Village on 27-28 April.
