News and Blogs

Four titles were up for grabs in the second session of the Swim England Synchro Combo Cup at the London Aquatics Centre.

In Division 1, Bramcote SC added the 13-15 title to the bronze they won in the 13-18 age group in session one.

They scored 55.4000 to finish ahead of Portsmouth and District SSC (53.3000) and Walsall SSC (52.3000).

In the 15-18 age group, Rushmoor SSC and City of Bristol both gave strong performances, but it was Rushmoor’s higher level of difficulty which gave them the edge over their south west rivals.

The Hampshire club was awarded 55.500 for gold, with City of Bristol second with 55.1000 and Norwich Synchro Club third with 53.2667.

Battle for the top in Division 2

There were two clubs in each of the Division 2 events battling it out for the title.

Following their silver in the Division 1 13-15 event, Stevenage’s Aqualina Synchro Club struck gold in the 12 and under. Their young team, which included eight-year-old Kiarra, scored 54.3667 against Aquavision North London SC who were awarded 53.2333.

The 15 and under event saw Walsall SSC score 59.3333 points for the gold medal, with City of Salford SSC taking the silver with 58.9000.
