Walsall's win seals second gold for Robyn Swatman

Walsall claimed the 13-15 years duet gold medal to give Robyn Swatman her second Swim England Synchronised Swimming National Age Group Championships title.

Swatman, who was victorious in the sole event, teamed up with Olivia Baker and the duo topped the podium with an overall score of 130.7559 – 66.4667 for their routine and 64.2892 for the figures.

That ensured they were 1.2906 ahead of Reading Royals, who actually received the highest routine score from the judges.

Settle for silver

Beatrice Crass and Eleanor Blinkhorn scored 66.7000 for their routine but their figures average of 62.7653 left them with a total of 129.4653 and they had to settle for the silver medal.

City of Salford’s Alicia Cox and Libby Taylor were the bronze medallists after scoring 124.7589 – 63.0667 for their routine and 61.6922 for the figures.

That left them only 0.5749 ahead of fourth-placed duo Zoe Dimond and Lilly Told, from City of Bristol, who finished with a total of 124.1840.
