Swim England reveals dates for 2019 competitive events

The dates for Swim England’s competitive synchronised swimming events for 2019 have been revealed.

Four events have been organised for 2019 at different venues across the country.

Next year, the first event will be the National Age Group Championships, which is scheduled to take place on 2-3 March in Manchester.

The Swimming National Age Group Championships will be on 27-28 April in Nottingham, where the iconic Redwood Trophy will be up for grabs.

In 2018, Rushmoor retained their title after winning gold in both the Team Tech and Team Free events to finish with a total of 140.5575 points.

City of Salford will be looking to defend their Synchro Combo Cup title on 6 July when the event returns to the London Aquatics Centre for the second year running.

The northwest club took two golds in session one and despite finishing third in the final event, had done enough throughout the rest of this year’s competition to top the Combo Cup rankings with 36 points in five events.

And the final Swim England-arranged event of 2019 will be the Masters Championships which will take place in November. The date and venue will be confirmed shortly.

Entry information, conditions and the final schedule will be published later this year for the National Age Group Championships, with the details for the other events announced in 2019.
