Entries to the Synchro Masters National Championships are now open

Entries have opened for the Swim England Synchronised Swimming National Masters Championships.

The event sees people of many different ages and abilities competing for national titles and takes place at the K2 Leisure Centre, Crawley, on Saturday 16 November.

It is the largest synchronised swimming event for Masters in the country with age groups ranging from 18-24 years right up to 80 years and over.

The full spectrum of synchronised swimming events are held, with medals awarded in each age group for free solo, mixed duet, duet and team.

Technical and free scores will combine for the mixed, duet and team events.

In 2018, Rushmoor dominated the championships as they won medals in every category.

They bettered their performance from 2017 as they claimed eight golds, three silvers and a bronze to be the most successful club at the event.

Changes to the event conditions this year mean all music must be submitted online prior to the championships and more information will be released once entries close.

Each club will also be required to provide a certain number of judges depending on how many events they enter and the full details are included in the event conditions.

Entries for the competition close on Wednesday 16 October.
