Book your place now at National Synchronised Swimming Conference

Coaches and judges from synchronised swimming clubs have an ‘ideal opportunity’ to develop their knowledge at a two-day national conference.

The Swim England Synchronised Swimming Conference, Reaching Your Potential – Coaching and Judging For Success, takes place on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December at the Jurys Inn, East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington, Derby.

It is the third consecutive year the conference has been held and will cover key topics such as the transition to the national programme, planning for basic skills and developing speed.

There will also be seminars on introducing the land grades and judging and coaching together.

It also provides the chance to hear the latest updates from world and European governing bodies FINA and LEN.

Karen Thorpe, Swim England Synchro Manager, said: “There is something for everyone connected with synchro clubs at our national conference.

Learning and sharing

“It’s an ideal opportunity for clubs to develop their knowledge but also to get together, join in the discussions and hear what’s going on in our sport.

“We’ll be looking at basic skills right through to how to develop speed and training athletes for the national team.

“We hope to see as many of our clubs learning and sharing their experiences at the conference and look forward to an exciting two days.”

Places at the conference can be booked now at a price of £40 per person, per day or £70 per person for the whole weekend.

The price includes a place at the conference, lunch and refreshments.

Hotel rooms can also be booked and there are a limited number available to delegates on a first come, first served basis at a reduced rate. Contact the Jurys Inn for full details.
