Great Britain claim three golds at Artistic Swimming World Cup in Spain

Great Britain won three gold medals at the Artistic Swimming World Cup – Stop 4 in Pontevedra, Spain (29–31 May 2026).

The squad delivered a series of impressive performances across the meet, including their comeback in the team events.

Golden success for Thorpe and Tomblin

The standout performances of the weekend once again came from Isabelle Thorpe and Ranjuo Tomblin, who continued their excellent 2026 campaign with two mixed duet gold medals.

The pair first topped the podium in the Mixed Duet Technical, scoring 225.9034, before delivering another dominant routine in the Mixed Duet Free, where their winning score of 259.5159 secured a second title of the meet.

Tomblin also starred individually, claiming gold in the Men’s Solo Free with an impressive 244.4588 points.

He narrowly missed out on an additional medal in the Men’s Solo Technical, finishing fourth with 213.2999 points.

Development performances across events

Great Britain also delivered several solid performances across the women’s and duet events. Loya Cenkci placed 11th in the Solo Technical with 221.6400 points, while Robyn Swatman and Eve Young finished 12th in the Free Duet, scoring 237.1209.

Return to team competition

A key milestone for the weekend came with Great Britain’s first team entries of the 2026 World Cup season.

The Team Technical squad finished 10th with 224.5275 points and the Team Free came eighth with 169.4816 points.

Looking ahead to the Super Final

With the fourth stop now complete, attention turns to the World Cup Super Final in Toronto, Canada (19–21 June 2026).

The Super Final provides the last opportunity to challenge the world’s best once again, before the World Cup season comes to an end.

With their success in Spain, the squad are now looking to keep the momentum going for the final showdown of the season.
