New dates for Boys Artistic Swimming Development Days launched
March 26, 2026 DevelopmentJoin us at Hengrove Park Leisure Centre, Bristol, for two upcoming Boys Artistic Swimming Development Days.
These days are designed for boys and the coaches who work with them. They’re also open to coaches who may not currently coach boys but would like to in the future or are interested in sharing ideas and learning more.
There will be two pool sessions, one land session and lots of learning opportunities with World Cup gold medallist, Ranjuo Tomblin, on hand to help and demonstrate to the attendees throughout the days.
National Coach, Paola Basso, will work directly with the boys each day and involve coaches in every part of the session. Swimmers will have the chance to practice key skills while coaches observe closely, ask questions and discuss what they see.
A key aim of the development days is to explore the similarities and differences between coaching male and female artistic swimmers – looking at what should stay the same when planning training sessions and what may need to be adapted to better support boys as they develop.
We want everyone to reach their full potential, and understanding the needs of both male and female artistic swimmers is an important part of that journey.
TWO dates are available: 18 April and 9 May 2026. The day will run from 9am until aprox. 5pm
At £20 per athlete (with coaches and parents attending free), this is an incredible opportunity for boys at all levels to build confidence, develop skills and feel part of a growing artistic swimming community.
