We are looking for an experienced and motivated swimming teacher to join our growing team. This role involves delivering high-quality baby and preschool swimming lessons alongside Learn to Swim classes, while providing an outstanding experience for children and their families.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging and progressive baby, preschool and Learn to Swim lessons to the highest standard.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit each swimmer's individual ability and learning style.
  • Monitor and record swimmer progress, providing regular feedback to parents.
  • Schedule classes, manage client bookings and maintain accurate lesson records.
  • Build positive relationships with families through exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Work collaboratively with the team while confidently managing your own programme.
  • Contribute ideas to help grow and develop our swimming programmes.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, safeguarding and health & safety at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification, ASA Level 2 Award in Teaching Aquatics, or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Adult & Child (Baby and Preschool) Swimming qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching:
    • Adult & Child classes (ages 3 months to 3 years
    • Learn to Swim classes (ages 3–6 years)
  • Driven to achieve programme and business targets.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional, reliable and well presented.
  • Flexible, adaptable and solution-focused.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to plan lessons, monitor swimmer progression and follow structured learning pathways.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and expanding your knowledge.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience working overseas.
  • Experience coordinating or managing a swimming programme.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using social media platforms to support programme growth and community engagement.
  • Current first aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
