Learn to Swim

A guide to the Learn to Swim Programme

Host of new features added to the My Learn to Swim app in new update

An update has been made to Swim England’s My Learn to Swim app to bring a host of new features and continue to celebrate the journey of learning to swim.

The app was created to bring the fun of swimming lessons home and allow children to unlock characters and stickers as they progress through the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.

The new additions include even more unlocked icons in the photobooth for everyone to access, more Learn to Swim Awards added and a select your local pool or swim school function to receive an extra unlock!

The update is now available on both the App Store and Google Play. Tap the buttons below to download.

Here’s some more details on each of the changes…

Poolfinder

The new Poolfinder button can now be used to search and select your local pool or swim school and get a free unlock to use in the photobooth.

Simply enter your postcode and click ‘search’. You’ll then be presented with a list of the nearest pools or swim schools.

Once you’ve selected your nearest pool or swim school, you can view the address, contact details and save it as a favourite!

Extra Learn to Swim Awards added

Even more certificates have been added to the My Learn to Swim app and they can be unlocked once you have achieved the certificate from your local provider of swimming lessons.

These include the Rainbow Distance Awards, Water Safety Awards and the Water Skills Awards.

Awesome new unlocks for the photobooth

There are also a range of awesome new unlocks that have been added to the photobooth when you unlock a Rainbow Distance Award, or have done so in the past.

Celebrate in style as your child unlocks more rewards in the photobooth with new animals, stickers and accessories – including Priya the Puffin.
