Junior Swimming Coach

Kettering Swimming Club based in Northamptonshire has an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated coach to join our successful club, to develop our Junior Squads, post-Stage 7 through to County/Regional levels.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in coaching different age groups of swimmers to a minimum of County level. They need to be motivated and able to work as part of a well-established team.  They will be responsible for the development of an annual training plan with support from the Head Coach, populate a competition calendar, be present at competitions and be able to adapt where necessary.  They will be able to demonstrate different communication styles and behaviours to support swimmers to enjoy their sport and reach their potential.  They will be able to work with swimmers, coaches, parents and the committee to provide the best environment for all swimmers.

Primarily based at Kettering Swimming Pool, the Club also trains at Thrapston and Oundle and some flexibility may occasionally be required. Hours are negotiable and to be agreed upon.
