Join in the conversation, follow us on Twitter & Facebook. The ASA, England’s national governing body for swimming, and the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea, provide a unique sea safety opportunity for all children aged 7-14 years old to learn the importance of beach safety for free.

While swimming in a pool is a great way of building confidence and technique, open water has its own challenges and dangers that young people should be made aware of.
