Artistic Swimming national event double header returns to Ponds Forge

Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield will once again play host to a weekend of national artistic swimming competition as swimmers from across the country gather for the Swim England Artistic Swimming Combo Cup and National Masters Championships.

The action begins on Saturday 5 July with the Swim England Artistic Swimming Combo Cup, before the National Masters Championships take centre stage on Sunday 6 July.

The Combo Cup is one of the most exciting events in the artistic swimming calendar, with clubs competing through free combination routines in a contest that combines creativity, teamwork and performance.

This year’s competition sees clubs looking to take the title from defending champions City of Salford, who were crowned Combo Cup winners in 2025.

Salford finished level on 32 points with City of Bristol, but secured the trophy after recording the higher routine average score, with Bristol posting an average of 105.7308.

The following day, the spotlight shifts to the National Masters Championships, where artistic swimmers aged 18 and over will compete across a range of categories.

The event showcases the lifelong appeal of artistic swimming, bringing together swimmers from a variety of age groups and experience levels for a day of national competition.

Those unable to attend in person can keep up with every score throughout the weekend via the live scoreboards. You can access the Combo Cup live scoreboard here and the National Masters Championships live scoreboard here.

There will be no livestream coverage of either event, but updates will be available across Swim England’s social channels and website.

Event photography from both competitions will be provided by Will Johnston Photography.
