
Rugby SC clinch both team trophies as the 2026 National Age Group and Youth Champs conclude
March 8, 2026The Swim England Artistic Swimming National Age Group and Youth Championships 2026 drew to an exciting close today, rounding off a full weekend of impressive routines and outstanding performances. With the day two events completed, all three major trophies have now been awarded.

The Mrs Y M Price Trophy was claimed by Rugby SC following an exceptional display in the Youth Free Team. Awarded to the team with the highest combined figure and free routine score in the 13-14 category, this year’s honours went to Amelie Jeary, Christina Kapiris, Frankie Klym, Keva Ennis, Lola Huett, Victoria Sharashkina and Aaron Lee, whose total of 254.6473 placed them ahead of their nearest challengers, City of Salford SC (236.0447).
Rugby SC continued their success in the younger age group, securing the Richard Whitehead Trophy after a strong showing in the 12&U Free Team. This time it was Alice Danielson, Elsa Gaskin, Emily Secher, Florence Danielson, Izzy Maglione, Jessica Slater, Katerina Myronova, Lily Bartholomew and Maisie Austin-Roberts who were handed the trophy. Their score of 170.1387 saw them finish ahead of Aqualina (160.2325) and London Regional (156.1408).

The prestigious Shacklock Trophy, presented to the swimmer with the highest combined total across solo, duet, free team and free combination, went to Eleanor Burlinson of City of Salford SC with a combined score of 505.9858.
Day two highlights
The final day of the championships saw a full schedule of routines and presentations, beginning with the 12&U Solo and Youth Solo, followed by the 12&U Duet and 12&U Mixed Duet.
Eleanor Burlinson of City of Salford SC won the Youth Solo with a score of 264.0028. In the 12&U event, City of Leeds’ Alana Hurst took home the National Age Group title with a score of 213.1604.
In the duets, Alice Danielson and Florence Danielson took top spot for Rugby SC (160.9708) – City of Birmingham SC won gold in the mixed category (216.9671) with Roisin Finglass and Sebastian Reeve.
In the afternoon, the championships concluded with the Free Team performances, where the team trophies for both the 12&U and Youth age categories were awarded.
