You’ll work closely with the Head Coach and wider coaching team to deliver high-quality training sessions, support swimmer progression, and help maintain a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven environment.  We are looking for someone as enthusiastic and passionate about swimming as we are.

The role is an ideal opportunity for a successful candidate to bring new ideas to a highly successful programme and a growing club as we continue to go from strength to strength. FSC now has over 350 members and a record number of County, Regional, and National qualifiers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with planning and delivering pool sessions for all ages and abilities
  • Provide technical feedback and skill corrections to all swimmers
  • Support swimmers at competitions and training events as required
  • Maintain records and complete administrative tasks as required by the Head Coach
  • Provide coaching cover when necessary
  • Work collaboratively with swimmers, parents, coaches, committee and all of our volunteers
  • Maintain safety, professionalism, and the Club’s values at all times

What You’ll Need:

  • Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate or equivalent  (ASA Level 2 Coaching Award)
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Swim England-approved Safeguarding Certificate (or willingness to complete)
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends (gala attendance may be required)
  • The right to work in the UK

We Offer:

  • The opportunity to be part of a supportive and experienced coaching team
  • Opportunities for personal development and continuing professional development (CPD)
  • Clear coaching pathways and mentoring
  • A chance to positively impact swimmers of all levels
  • A part-time role; we are happy to discuss hours with suitable candidates
