Learn to Swim Manager/Lead Teacher – Trojan Sports, Dubai

Trojan Sports is seeking a passionate, experienced and inspirational Learn to Swim Manager/Lead Teacher who can drive the continued success and growth of our aquatics programme in Dubai. The start date for this role is mid-August 2026.

Trojan Sports currently operates a world-class 50m swimming facility, delivering lessons to the highest possible standards and aiming to become the market leader for customer service in aquatics across the region. As we continue to expand into school venues, we are seeking an ambitious leader who can oversee and develop our Learn to Swim programme, support and inspire our teaching team, and ensure that every child receives an exceptional swimming experience.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Programme Management

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Trojan Sports Learn to Swim programme to ensure the highest standards of teaching, customer service, and swimmer progression.
  • Recruit, mentor, support, and appraise swimming teachers to create a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all lessons and venues by implementing and monitoring the Trojan Sports scheme of work.
  • Support the strategic growth of the programme as it expands into additional school venues across Dubai.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback, and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Promote and uphold the Trojan Sports vision and values throughout all areas of the programme.

Delivery of Lessons

  • Deliver highly engaging, safe, and high-quality swimming lessons to a variety of age groups and abilities.
  • Ensure lessons are planned and delivered in line with the Trojan Sports scheme of work and assessment criteria.
  • Recognise the abilities of participants and inspire every swimmer to achieve their full potential.
  • Evaluate swimmer performance and provide constructive feedback to both participants and parents.
  • Maintain excellent communication with customers and provide regular updates regarding swimmer progress and development.

Operations and Administration

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Learn to Swim programme, ensuring lessons run efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records, including swimmer attendance, achievements and customer information through the booking system.
  • Ensure all programme administration is completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Work closely with Senior Management to support programme planning, reporting and future development initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Customer Experience and Stakeholder Relationships

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with parents, customers, school partners and key stakeholders.
  • Represent Trojan Sports with professionalism and pride within school settings and the wider community.
  • Support and attend events, competitions and promotional activities as required by Senior Management.
  • Ensure customer enquiries and concerns are managed proactively and professionally, delivering an exceptional customer experience at all times.

Health and Safety

  • Ensure all safety standards, policies, and operating procedures are consistently followed and adhered to.
  • Maintain a safe and positive environment for swimmers, parents, and staff.
  • Lead by example in promoting best practice in safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management across all programme activities.
