Which Pool Plant course is right for you?

We offer a series of pool plant courses that focus on the safe maintenance of swimming pools, spas and leisure water features; but which one is right for you?

The big difference is whether you need to test the water or if you are responsible for the overall running of the plant room including maintaining and restoring water to ideal conditions

Our 1-day Pool Plant Foundation Certificate provides you with the skills and knowledge to test pool water and understand what effects pool water quality. It’s great for anyone who hires facilities (e.g. swim schools) and wishes to check the pool water is safe prior to use or for front line staff who may be required to complete water testing such as lifeguards or leisure assistants. The course does not provide the knowledge required to restore pool water to the ideal conditions or complete more complex tasks within the pool plant.

For those responsible for the overall running of the plant room including maintaining and restoring water to ideal conditions, the 3-day Pool Plant Operator Certificate is recommended for you. This comprehensive course complies with PWTAG guidelines which are widely viewed as best practice amongst industry professionals.
