The academy allows aspiring swimming teachers to receive all their training for only £85, compared to the usual cost of over £1000. You will be matched with an employer who will support you through the process along with the Recruitment Academy Team.

About

Teaching swimming is an active and rewarding role. Work hours are generally part-time including weekday evenings from 3.30pm to 7pm, Saturdays 9am to 2pm and Sundays 9am to 12pm.

Once qualified successful trainees will be employed by 1Life. Vacancies available at the following leisure centre:

• Downham Health and Leisure Centre, 7-9 Moorside Road, Downham, Bromley BR1 5EP

Once qualified Swimming Teachers can expect a rate of pay of £17.50 per hour.

A DBS check will be required before starting your volunteering hours.

Shortlisted applicants will be given the opportunity to find out more about the job at an informal virtual meet and greet session. You don’t need any prior qualifications to apply as you will be supported through your training, although we are accepting applications from those who are halfway through their swimming teacher training or already have their level 1 or 2 qualifications.
