The aim of this eLearning CPD is to provide individuals with the foundations of inclusivity to enable a change in mindset by adopting the social approach of inclusion in a range of environments. It will give you an introduction to equality, diversity and inclusion, covering the path to inclusion, the use of appropriate language and the importance of adaption.

Who is the course designed for?

The CPD is for anyone and everyone over the age of 14, including educators, volunteers, officials, learners, teachers, coaches, athletes, and the general workforce from within and outside the leisure sector.

Training format

The eLearning will take you around 3.5 hours to complete. We recommend taking breaks throughout to think about how you can implement what you’ve learned.

Course content

During the eLearning, you will learn about:

• Applying the social approach of inclusion.
• Identifying current and appropriate terminology.
• Describing the importance of adaptation.
• Identifying where to access additional support and guidance.
