Introduction to Deaf Awareness and using British Sign Language in Aquatics

This interactive online CPD (continual professional development), Introduction to Deaf Awareness and using British Sign Language in Aquatics helps swimming teachers and coaches improve and adapt their sessions to better accommodate deaf and hard of hearing people in the aquatic environment.

Training Format

This 3-hour workshop is delivered online as a webinar 

The session is broken down into two parts:

1. An introduction to deaf awareness
2. An introduction to signing for swimming lessons
   

Who is this course designed for?

This webinar is for Level 1 or 2 swimming teachers and or coaches. 

Prerequisites

You must be at least 16 years of age at the start of the course.
