The academy allows aspiring swimming teachers to receive all their training for only £85. It includes mentoring to support your development, and you’ll be matched with an employer.

About 

Following successful completion of the programme there will be the opportunity to work at the following pool:

• Repton School, Willington Rd, Repton, Derby DE65 6FH

Teaching hours will generally be Wednesday 4-7pm, Saturday 9-12pm and 4-6pm, Sunday 8:30-12pm.

Once qualified, successful trainees will be employed as paid swimming teachers by Repton Learn to Swim on a casual or part-time basis. Employment is subject to passing an enhanced DBS check.

Shortlisted applicants will be given the opportunity to find out more about the job at an interview and informal virtual meet and greet session.

You don’t need any prior qualifications to apply as you will be supported through your training, although we are accepting applications from those who are halfway through their swimming teacher training or already have their level 1 or 2 qualifications.
