The academy allows aspiring swimming teachers to receive all their training for only £85. It includes mentoring to support your development, and you’ll be matched with an employer.

What’s included?

About 

Teaching Swimming is an active and rewarding role. Work hours are generally part-time including weekday evenings and weekend mornings.

  • Olympiad Leisure Centre, Monkton Park, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 3PA
  • The Activity Zone, Malmesbury, Bremilham Road, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, SN16 0DQ

Once qualified successful trainees will be employed as swimming teachers by Wiltshire Council. A DBS check will be required prior to volunteer hours.

Shortlisted applicants will be given the opportunity to find out more about the job at an informal virtual meet and greet session and interview.

You don’t need any prior qualifications to apply as you will be supported through your training, although we are accepting applications from those who are halfway through their swimming teacher training or already have their level 1 or 2 qualifications.
