Introduce, Develop, Master Strokes & Skills in Learn to Swim

This workshop will give you an overview of how to introduce, develop and master stroke and skills throughout the Learn to Swim framework, and to help prevent swimmers getting stuck in the same Stage, as well as preventing 'bottle-necks' in learn to swim programmes.

Who is the course designed for?

This CPD is aimed at Level 2 swimming teachers who want to refresh their knowledge and level 1 Swimming Assistants who are looking to take the step up to Level 2 in the near future.

Delivery format

This is a 2 hour CPD and is delivered via Zoom.

  • Understanding the SE Learn to Swim Framework
  • What the Introduce, Develop and Master (IDM) model is
  • How IDM works with Strokes and Core Aquatic Skills
  • The advantages of IDM
