Deaf Friendly Swimming

The National Deaf Children’s Society and Swim England have teamed up to create this resource. This is an excellent tool for teachers and coaches to learn how to teach and coach a deaf swimmer and ensure that deaf and hard of hearing young people are fully supported in accessing swimming sessions.

Visually Impaired Friendly Swimming

This online course will help you understand visual impairments and how to support and include those with a visual impairment in swimming activities.

Both modules are aimed at Level 2 swimming teachers and coaches and will take approximately 2 hours each.

You can start this online course as soon as you are booked on and it can be accessed multiple times before completion.
