This blended learning course will allow you to complete the theoretical elements online, through interactive activities which will check your understanding as you work through the content. At the end of the online learning, there will be an assessment which you will have a number of attempts to complete. You will then carry out your practical and assessment day.
To start your training you will be invited to join your tutor and others on your course, for a webinar. This will be hosted on ZOOM and will help you kick-off your studies, introduce your tutor and familiarise you with the online learning environment.
The specialist online learning is split into bite-sized pieces, so you don't have to do it all in one go. This will mean you can work through the course online at home, at your own pace. You will have until your practical training day to complete your online learning.
You will then attend your practical training day. Your practical training will include some classroom workshops, a water testing assessment and multiple-choice exam. Please note that the multiple choice exam will be based on some of the information covered in your online work so it is mandatory that you complete this before the practical training day.
At the end of the practical day, you will be issued a theory-based assessment to work on in your own time.
