A guide to the Learn to Swim Programme

Learn to Swim games - Circle Rush Hour

Circle Rush Hour is a popular game which can be adapted for swimmers of all abilities.

How to play Circle Rush Hour

During Circle Rush Hour, children of a similar size form an inner circle and an outer circle.

When the teacher says go, children in the outer circle race around the inner circle until they are back behind their original partner.

They then swim between the partner’s legs.

If the children are not confident in putting their faces in the water yet, they can move underneath the arm of their partner, instead of through the legs.
