Learn to Swim

A guide to the Learn to Swim Programme

Learn to Swim games - Horse Race

Horse race is a great game to improve a child’s mobility as part of the Learn to Swim stages.

How to play Horse Race

During the horse race, children move through the water on a noodle – either independently or assisted by an adult.

Children race across the pool to be the first to the other side or the first to collect a toy.

As they move through the water, they will work on their coordination, buoyancy, balance, and also improve their kicking technique.
