Learn to Swim

A guide to the Learn to Swim Programme

Learn to Swim games - Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty is a fun way to improve a child’s confidence when getting into the water.

How to play Humpty Dumpty

Sitting or standing on poolside, children sing the popular nursery rhyme before being lifted into the water, or jumping in and being caught by an adult.

Once they are confident in jumping into the water, they should rotate and return to poolside independently.
