Rocket Ships adds an extra element of fun to the important skill of push and glides.

How to play Rocket Ships

Effective push and glides are the foundations of streamlining in the water and learning the four strokes.

During Rocket Ships, a child pushes off from poolside and glides as far as possible.

As they progress through the Learn to Swim Stage Awards, they can introduce a leg kick and arm action before rotating 180 degrees to return to poolside.
