Live Water Polo U16 Girls Inter-Regional Championships 2026

The U16 Girls Inter-Regional Championships arrive at the Liverpool Aquatics Centre from the 4-5 July 2026, with eight of the UK’s top regional teams competing for national honours.

Representing regions from across the country, the teams will battle it out over two days in pursuit of the championship title and the opportunity to secure a place in Division 1 for 2028.

The competition begins with a group stage, where the eight teams have been split into two pools of four. The eight teams were selected from the U14s inter-regional results in 2024.

Group A features hosts North West Thunder, looking to add the U16 Girls title to the U16 Open Inter-Regional Championship they claimed last weekend, alongside West Midland Warriors, South East, and London Sharks.

In Group B, East Angels, Scotland, South West Sharks, and North East Steelers will compete for the remaining semi-final places, with only the top two teams from each group progressing to the medal matches.

Group stage fixtures will be played throughout Saturday, with the final classification and medal matches taking place on Sunday 5 July.
