Swimming Coach

Dunmow Atlantis Swimming Club in Essex is seeking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Swimming Coach to join our team.   

Following our recent merger with Harlow Penguins, our Club is expanding and improving the provision for our growing membership.  The Club is growing from strength to strength and competing successfully at County, Regional and National levels, with Summer National qualifiers consistently across the last 4 seasons.  We are seeking to grow our coaching team to support the talent moving through the Club, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in competitive swimming, coaching experience, and a commitment to developing swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading one of the Club’s squads, planning and delivering the training and competitive experience for a group of similar age and ability athletes:
• To manage swimmer and parent communication and engagement for their squad
• To plan, organise, and deliver engaging and effective swimming training sessions for the squad
• Assess and monitor the progress of swimmers, providing constructive feedback
• Develop training plans that align with the club's objectives and goals of the swimmers
• Foster a positive  and inclusive team environment that encourages participation and sportsmanship
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to training and competition
• Support where required the delivery of other squads
