Swim England Talent divers gaining experience at British National Diving Cup

Thirteen youngsters on the Swim England Talent Programme will be gaining ‘invaluable experience’ as they compete against some of the country’s best divers at the British National Diving Cup 2019.

The youngsters will share the stage with the likes of Olympic, World and Commonwealth champion Jack Laugher as they take part in the prestigious three-day competition at the Plymouth Life Centre from 1-3 February.

For some of the athletes, the British National Diving Cup will be the biggest event they have competed in so far – and it gives all of them a chance to show what they can do.

Suzie Collins, Swim England Talent Development Officer for diving, said: “This event is a fantastic opportunity for our Team Y divers to compete against the best senior athletes in the country.
